Everyone always tells you how fast time goes. And one day you wake up as adult, maybe a parent, and it hits you to your core.
I already feel like so many of my kids memories are blurred from late nights, early starts, night feeds, the rush of breakfast, juggling babies, and kinder drop offs. Sometimes feeling as though you are in survival mode, but even still, I am terrified I won’t remember these ‘normal’ days. They fade so quickly.
But one day both of these will be deeply longed for, the special times and the ordinary ones. I want to give you the images to transport you back to those moments, those emotions, those days.

These include family, newborn and maternity sessions
Maybe it's a toddler refusing to wear pants, a baby who's finally settled after three feeds, or a very pregnant belly in the good afternoon light. Whatever your version of "at home" looks like right now, that's the session.

Our little kidlets change each year - their hair gets longer, their teeth come in or fall out, they love spiderman or obsess over the colour pink… document them as they are right at that moment!A 20 minute session that includes 7 images (with the option to upgrade), held at my Glengarry Darling Studio.
how it all works
1. get in touch
Reach out to me via my contact form so we can chat about your wants and needs. This includes info on the session or package you are interested in, dates and locations. We can also discuss what to expect out of your session like session lengths, wardrobe and the Darling Studio.
2. let’s lock it in
Once we have discussed what you want, available dates, session times, locations, etc, I will send you over an invoice. When your deposit is paid, your session will be official!
3. it’s photo day
The day has come and we are all feeling ready and excited to preserve these memories. Don't worry if you feel awkward or don't know how to pose, I got you!! I will give you plenty of direction when needed, and if I am not, I’m capturing the little unposed moments.
4. your gallery
I will spend time curating, editing and enhancing your images to be the best to my artistic ability. I’ll email your private online gallery link for you to enjoy. From there you select your images for what your packages includes, and if you fall in love with more, you simply reach out and let me know, and we will organise a full gallery!

Equipped with a client wardrobe for most of the family, along with a baby beanbag, blankets and wraps, all at your fingertips.

The amount of photos included is stated in your package description
However, you do have the option to upgrade and purchase more photos or the full gallery.
I aim to have your photos delivered as quickly as a few days after the session, no longer than 30 days after the session date.

I mostly take lifestyle documentary type photos of families, babies, lovers, and motherhood sessions.
I am more than happy to try and accommodate anything you are after. However, if you are not sure, you can send me a message with a brief description and we can chat!

Love your in-home nursery? Have a location that is special to you or your family?
Yes, I am able to travel to you. I do charge a travel fee if past 30km outside of Traralgon.
Wondering if I travel even further, such as interstate? I will travel for love!!

I always suggest wearing comfortable clothing and something you feel good in!
Try to think about coordinating, not so much matchy-matchy. In a family setting, try to choose 3 or 4 colours that compliment one another. Also think about the location and colours that might compliment it too.
Choosing different materials adds textures and interest without needing different colours - linens, ribbed, muslin, knits.
I love beautiful silhouettes, so think light and flow dresses/skirts for your girls to dance the day away in.
Small patterns in clothes can be sweet and subtle. I recommend trying to stay away from big prints and logos on t-shirts as they can be distracting. I also suggest trying to avoid lots of black if possible as the camera finds it hard to focus on.
As an alternative, I do have a small client wardrobe such as a few dresses, wraps, and kimonos along with baby/infant items, and young girls dresses that are also available on request.

You will be sent an email with a link to a private online gallery where you will be able to view your photos and select your images.
No email? No worries! On request, I can organise your gallery to be put on a USB and sent to you directly.
